Wishpicks started with a simple question: why is it so hard to tell people what you actually want? We're Anton and Maryna, and this is our story.
How it started

The idea came in early 2022, when Maryna and I were expecting our first child. Friends kept asking what we needed for the baby — and we realized there was no good way to share a wishlist that worked with any store, without forcing everyone to sign up. We started sketching out a product, full of optimism that we'd launch before Artemii was born.
We didn't. Not even close. Artemii arrived, and suddenly sleepless nights, diapers, and figuring out how to be parents replaced all our grand startup plans. The project sat in a folder for months. But the problem didn't go away — every birthday, every holiday, the same question: "what do you actually want?"
In mid-2023 we finally started building for real. Late evenings, weekends, nap times. By March 2024 the first users were creating wishlists on a pretty basic version of the site. It worked. People shared it with friends, friends shared it further. We kept going.
Today, Wishpicks is used by thousands of people across 8 languages. Anton handles the product, engineering, and everything in between. Maryna keeps the family running while Artemii (now 3) keeps us both on our toes. It's still a family project at heart — built with care, not by a corporation.
