Their wishlist comes with their name. Reserve what you’ll give right there.
Your Santa sees your list. You don’t see what they picked.
Add a wishlist to the group and whoever draws you shops from it. What’s reserved on it stays hidden from you until the morning after gift day, so the surprise holds.
Nobody sees who drew whom, not even the organizer.
The group sees how many gifts are ready, never whose.

Everyone gives to everyone
From 3 peopleNo draw: each person gives a gift to each of the others. Reserving on their lists keeps two people from buying the same thing.
Before you start
Does everyone need an account?
Yes. Everyone taking part, the organizer included, needs a Wishpicks account and has to be 16 or older. Anyone can open the link and read the invitation first.
Can children take part?
No. Everyone needs their own account, and accounts start at 16, so anyone younger can’t join a group.
How does the budget work?
The organizer picks a range per gift, in the group’s currency. Everyone sees it on the invitation before joining, and gift ideas stay within it.
When are names drawn?
On the draw date set when the group is started. Once four people are in, the organizer can draw sooner; otherwise names are drawn automatically that day. Everyone hears about it in Updates and by email.
Can I find out who drew me?
Only if the organizer turned on the reveal. It’s off by default, can be turned on until names are drawn, and is fixed after that. With it on, everyone sees who drew whom from the morning after gift day.
Do I have to add a wishlist?
No, joining is enough to be in the draw. Without a list, your Santa gets gift ideas within the budget.
What if someone drops out or joins late?
Until names are drawn, anyone with the link can join or leave. After the draw, the organizer decides on latecomers and can remove someone, and anyone can leave. Only one or two people get a new name, and only they are told. Changes close three days before gift day.
Can we do it again next year?
Yes. The organizer opens last year’s group and runs it again: same budget, a new link, and everyone joins again from it. We try to avoid last year’s pairs where the group allows.
